Live in Support Worker – Empower, Support, Lead

Are you energetic, reliable, passionate and looking for a deeply rewarding position where you'll make a lasting impact? We are hiring a Support Worker to join our team and assist three vibrant young ladies with developing life skills, engaging in the community, and living fulfilling lives. We offer a live-in private suite (optional) in a home for your comfort and convenience.
As Team Facilitator and part of a collaborative team you will:
- Support with grocery shopping, cooking, laundry and light housekeeping
- Assist with community outings and personal routines
- Foster and encourage independence, confidence, and communication for these individuals
You must have:
- A positive, compassionate and organized approach
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- A working cell phone
- Standard security checks and references
Priority will be given to applicants fluent in American Sign Language. A minimum level 103 ASL training is required to support a deaf individual.
Knowledge of Type 1 Diabetes management and care (training provided) is an asset.
Opportunities for part time workers are also available.
